New Building

 

The Town of Victoria Park is busy building us a new purpose built community centre at Lathlain Place.



The Town of Victoria Park is in the process of constructing a new Multipurpose Community Building on Lathlain Place in Lathlain as part of the new Lathlain Precinct, which will also see the West Coast Eagles training grounds in the area.

 

The multipurpose building next to the Scout Hall will accommodate Lathlain Playgroup, the Carlisle Victoria Park Toy Library and the local Child Health Nurse and will be completed mid 2016.

 

Lathlain Playgroup has had extensive consultation with the Town of Victoria Park to create state-of-the-art community facility for new families looking for a Playgroup.

 

The new Playgroup will include:

 

• Purpose built indoor space with ducted reverse cycle air-conditioning, purpose built cabinetry

• Separate kitchen overlooking the indoor playspace

• Parents room/toilet as well as kindy style toilets

• Secure, locked entrance

• Nature-scape outdoor space

 

This community hub will see a fantastic flow on effect from child health nurse established mothers groups to playgroups and then moving to the Lathlain Primary School across the road.
